In sight: Renault smiles… Stellantis cries
With all of its brands (Dacia and Alpine), the Renault group completed a first half of 2025 on an increase in its world sales. With 1.17 billion registrations from January to June, Renault increased 1.3 % compared to last year over the same period.
A leap due in particular to the success of its new R5 – made in Douai -, the best -selling model in Europe in its category. Stellantis (Peugeot, Fiat, Citroën …), on the other hand, accuses a net loss of 2.3 billion euros over the same period, penalized by the decline of its sales, higher production costs and customs duties in the United States.
Bridge Africa 2025: future African leaders want to weigh in public debate
Faced with the continent’s challenges, 130 young people from 25 African countries presented 25 concrete proposals at the end of the Bridge Africa Summit, welcomed by the UM6P University in Benguerre (Morocco). Objective: to challenge decision -makers on issues such as education, mobility or project financing. This 2025 edition highlighted a generation that seeks to make its voice heard in the development of public policies. Among the advanced tracks: the integration of cultural and sports industries in development plans, intra-African mobility or water governance.
Atlante passes the course of 1,000 charging stations in southern Europe
Present in four countries, the Atlantean fast charging network has crossed the threshold of the 1,000 stations installed. Launched in 2021, the company is developing infrastructure in urban, commercial and highway, with an objective: to support the rise of electric mobility on the scale of southern Europe. The deployment continues with new sites with energy storage and solar panels. An emblematic station has just been inaugurated in Milan to mark this milestone.

The decline in the average turnover of commercial brands over the summer sales period compared to last year. Results judged “Disappoints” by the Chamber of Commerce of the Île-de-France region. Retail businesses in particular accuse a drop of 0.7 % in June, after a decline of 0.3 % in May. Sector by sector, furniture sales decrease by 5.4 %, textiles and clothing by 4.2 %. In a context of strong competition from Chinese platforms Shein and Temu.
To follow: national collection for village churches
The Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, and Olivier de Rohan-Chabot, president of the Foundation for the safeguard of French art, signed this week the launching agreement for a large national collection dedicated to the preservation of rural religious heritage.
In each region, a popular vote will designate among three remarkable pre -selected sites, the one that will benefit from the collection of donations. The launch of the operation will take place on September 20, during the European Heritage Days. Donations made within the framework of this campaign will be entitled to a tax deduction of 75 % of income tax, up to a limit of 1,000 euros per donor.
