With that simple question a young man stepped on to the stage of human history and injected himself into a battle for the survival of his nation. Young King David looked at his countrymen that day and asked that question, "Is there not a cause?" Those of us in the 43rd LD of Nebraska probably would have worded it differently but we would be asking the same question. "Does anyone else see that problem" would be how many of us would say it. No matter how the question is asked, we all have the same answer, a resounding "YES". Yes, I see that problem. Yes, I know that is not right. Yes, I know my children and grandchildren deserve better.
So, how do we defeat these GIANTS and fix the problems? First, we need to quit sending problem makers to be the problem solvers. We need to stop expecting selfish people to look out for all the people. We need to stop believing that money and influence are synonymous with brains and integrity and we begin to elect people that understand that they are to represent us, rather than use our vote for a stepping place to advance them and their friends.
