Immigration, war against wokism … Javier Milei’s spokesperson reveals his agenda for Argentina

The Tangwall Campagin. These elections are the first major electoral test for Javier Milei and his party freedom is advancing. More than a year after coming to power, is it still as popular?

Manuel Adorni, spokesperson for Javier Milei. Argentines understood that we have laid the foundations to straighten the country permanently. Since the start of the XXe A century, Argentina has never experienced a budgetary surplus, except when it did not pay its debts. A hundred years ago, we would die to come and live in Buenos Aires because there were opportunities, a better life, etc. Populism has destroyed everything. It is as if the refrigerator was full and over the years everyone had used it without doing anything. At the end, obviously, there is nothing more to eat. Thanks to the policy of budgetary restrictions and deregulation of the economy, we have elaborated a budgetary surplus, controlled inflation and lowers poverty. These unexpected results were obtained in only one year in the face of an opposition which has never accepted its defeat and would have wanted to extend to power with all its privileges.

Precisely, you hardened the immigration law. However, your opponents like to remember that Argentina is a reception land …

We just want to make Argentines live better, with more security and in compliance with the law. All those who will not enter this framework will be expelled. There is no reason why illegal immigration will continue. The illegals weaken the state to the detriment of those it is supposed to protect.

“The wokist agenda of the left justifies a large state to better protect its own affairs and privileges”

Would Javier Milei first won the cultural battle against the left?

Before we are in power, the left attacked freedom, capitalism and the free market. His ideas entered society so much that they destroyed it. Today, as the economy is better, that private property is now respected, the left uses “noble causes”, such as the defense of the LGBT community or women, in an attempt to destabilize us. But in this government, no one speaks badly about women or would like them to be treated less well than men. We simply want equality before the law and its strict respect. The left, not only violates private property but also violates the real rights of the citizen and, worse, it violates life. President Milei is a fighter of freedom, hence his very noticed speech to Davos against this wokist agenda of the left which, behind its noble causes, justifies a voluminous state to better protect its own affairs and privileges.

You personally campaign in Buenos Aires while being the president’s spokesperson. Is it compatible?

Milei appointed me for my skills. In a country so badly in point, after having been one of the richest in the world, it is clear that knowledge in economics is essential. I am an economist like him, I am the voice of the president during the press conferences, I execute his policy everywhere.

It is said that with Javier Milei, there is no room for courtiers …

Unlike our predecessors, we are not there for our particular interests or to continue in power. No room here for opportunists. We are a united team for a specific purpose: that of returning to Argentina its freedom.

You are part of the very limited circle of the president. We even whisper that your victory on Sunday could be a springboard …

Our first meeting took place almost ten years ago, on the set of a very on the left television channel, the CN5, which clearly supported the government of former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. It is in this hostile context that we have forged a lasting friendship based on mutual trust. We each have our style, but I am like the president, someone authentic.

Is this authenticity that is the strength of your party?

Our detractors said that when we were faced with responsibilities, we would change politics. They had predicted an economic disaster, the collapse of Argentina. The opposite happened. We are liberals and we set up the announced liberal policy. I know, it’s very rare in politics.
